Hog Roast EssexSometimes, you might need help creating your perfect menu, the menu of your dreams for your wedding day, a milestone birthday party or something altogether different, which we can always do if needed, but sometimes, one of our own simple menus is just the ticket.

For a business conference at his pharmaceutical company recently, our long-term customer Mike knew exactly what he wanted to serve the 70 guests he was inviting – a traditional Hog Roast Essex hog roast. For this particular event, Mike asked us to make pigs in buns for everyone, though sometimes he asks us to cook a meal of pork, crackling, stuffing, seasonal vegetables, potatoes and our homemade onion gravy. Our pigs in buns are what you may know as hog roast rolls, where we prepare the locally-sourced meat from scratch at your venue, so it’s ever so fresh, roast for hours on end until we get a browned, crispy outer, full of crackling, and it becomes soft and tender on the inside, with mouthwatering slivers of pork. We then cram bits of the pork and crackling into soft bread rolls and wraps, top with our homemade apple sauce and stuffing, and serve at the optimum time.

On the day of Mike’s corporate hospitality, Hog Roast Essex cooked up a storm for him and the guests, with everyone devouring our yummy food until the hog had been completely stripped clean.
