Julie has worked as a nurse for over 50 years and is happy to be finally entering retirement, able to settle down at her home in Essex and enjoy some much-needed rest and relaxation. To celebrate entering retirement, her daughter Stacey has organised a party for friends, family, and colleagues to enjoy at their family home. To make the party an event to remember, Stacey has contacted Hog Roast Willingale to arrange catering for the event. After discussing a selection of menu options with our catering manager, it was decided that a Gourmet BBQ would be perfect for the occasion.
On the day of the event, the Hog Roast Willingale team arrived at Julie’s home and began setting up our catering station. Our menu needed to be prepared in time for the 7:00pm mealtime, with plenty for the 40 guests to enjoy. We began by grilling the main dishes, which included succulent pork sausages, veggie sausages, British beef burgers, marinated chicken kebabs, and halloumi and vegetable skewers. The mains were served in fresh bread rolls, alongside crunchy coleslaw, seasonal salad dishes, homemade chips, corn on the cob, and sweet potato fries. We served the menu buffet-style to the guests, allowing everyone to create a delicious meal from what we had to offer. Our catering was a great addition to the evening and set a celebratory tone for the evening. The Hog Roast Willingale team was happy to have been involved with this event and be a part of something so memorable!
