Have you had a favourite event at all?

James loved catering at an outdoor wedding in an open field. The bride and groom had opted for a festive-style wedding with a tepee marque with hay-barrels surrounding a fire pit. It was such a cosy and intimate event with the sun shining down creating a jolly atmosphere which was topped off with amazing food!

Where has been your favourite venue so far?

James really liked the Reid rooms in Chelmsford, the customers can choose between different styled and themed locations within the grounds. There is a meadow pavilion filled with colourful and dainty flowers, a beautiful and rustic farmhouse with oak beams perfect to dangle fairy lights and make it into an enchanting space or festival-inspired boho outdoor marquee wedding. James would love to return and see which wedding-theme he’ll be at next! 

Which menu would you recommend?

The wedding menu’s according to James are the ultimate menu’s, he particularly enjoys serving the antipasti boards with different flavours of fine cheeses and tasty meats served with artisan breads and sophisticated nibbles such as olives. You cannot go wrong in James’s eyes with a hog roast, the theatre aspect of it is just as great as the mouth-watering tastes of the succulent pulled pork, nourish stuffing and crisp crackling served in a rustic roll. James would also recommend butcher sausages to have on the side or chicken kebabs, both heavenly and enjoyed as an extra by guests. 

Have you had any funny moments on an event?

James claims too many to recall!
