Hog Roast South Ockendon recently catered Jodie and Simon’s informal wedding reception, which they had booked with us several months in advance. After checking out our extensive menus, they decided on the main course of our amazing pigs in buns for their fifty guests, preceded by several canapés and refreshing drinks, and followed by a homemade dessert to be served alongside their wedding cake. The couple chose dim sum, mini quiches, chicken satay, smoked salmon, grilled fillet of beef and halloumi kebabs to be served with champagne and orange juice when the guests arrived and our scrumptious dessert of chocolate torte.
On the day of the wedding, our chef and team members roasted a large hog to perfection over several hours and worked hard to create the six fresh appetizers and our dessert from scratch. Once service began, the couple and their guests were all well-fed with plenty of food, with many guests returning for seconds or more of our famous pigs in buns once it was time to enjoy the main course.
