This June, our catering manager James was hired by a local sales company in Essex to provide a meal for their summer party. The party was being hosted as a way to thank the team for their hard work and to make the most of the great weather by providing a delicious meal for the staff to enjoy. James was asked to serve our classic hog roast menu to the 60 team members, including a gluten-free alternative when requested.
On the day of the event, the Hog Roast Loughton team arrived at the office block to prepare the catering for the event. The event was taking place in the carpark of the building, which had been cordoned off and lined with tables and chairs for the team to relax and enjoy. The sun was shining, and the weather was ideal for outdoor catering. We began by roasting the hog and ensuring that it was cooked to perfection. Once ready, it was expertly carved and served in fresh bread rolls or a gluten-free alternative. For meat-free guests, we also served BBQ pulled jackfruit, which is a delicious alternative. Alongside the mains, we also served homemade chips, sage and onion stuffing, fresh applesauce, and seasonal salad dishes. Overall, our menu went down a treat and there was plenty for every guest to enjoy.
