With the holiday season in full swing, Hog Roast Galleywood has found ourselves in extremely high demand lately, and, yes, we’re relishing every moment of the festive rush!
Our most recent collaboration was with Clive, who entrusted us to create a sensational dining experience for 300 guests at an exclusive adults-only festive disco. Hosted at a chic hotel right here in Essex, the event promised hours of entertainment for its lucky ticket holders.
In the lead-up to the extravaganza, our catering manager, James, worked closely with Clive to craft a fully custom three-course menu that would leave a lasting impression.
On the day of the event, our dedicated team went into overdrive to ensure a seamless dining experience. The dining tables were adorned with crisp white linen, cutlery, and crockery meticulously arranged at each place setting. Clive and his events team added the finishing touches, decorating each table with festive arrangements and warm-glow fairy lights.
The culinary journey kicked off with a soul-warming homemade soup, served with crusty bread rolls and butter, skilfully presented by Hog Roast Galleywood’s attentive serving staff. After relishing the comforting starter, guests eagerly indulged in the main course, which was a feast fit for royalty!
A full hog roast with crackling, sage and onion stuffing, and applesauce blew guests away and was accompanied by delicious cauliflower cheese, pigs in blankets, glazed seasonal vegetables, roasties, and gravy. For the veggie and vegan guests, grilled vegetable and halloumi skewers with flatbreads and tzatziki dip provided a mouth-watering alternative. The abundance of delicious options allowed guests to indulge in third and fourth helpings, which they were eager to take full advantage of.
This sensational spread concluded with a dessert buffet – homemade individual cheesecakes and decadent profiteroles, paired with a glass of mulled wine. As plates were cleared, guests eagerly made their way through to the dance hall, where a live DJ performance awaited.
The night seamlessly transitioned from a bespoke dining experience to a lively disco, providing a memorable celebration for all. Hog Roast Galleywood was thrilled to be a part of such a joyous occasion, and we’re eager to bring our culinary magic to more events in the days to come.
