Holly is a community outreach officer at a local community centre in Essex and wanted to do something different this Christmas to ensure that everyone has something to celebrate. Alongside providing a delicious hot meal, Holly also wanted to create a festive and cosy environment to allow everyone to relax and get into the Christmas spirit! To do this, she decorated the centre with all of the traditional Christmas decorations, including baubles, tinsel, and fairy lights. She also prepared a playlist of Christmas songs and a list of festive movies to be shown throughout the month. For the Christmas party, she hired Hog Roast Burrough Green to serve a simple festive menu to the guests. Our catering manager James was happy to get involved with this event, especially as it was for such a good cause.
In preparation for this festive gathering, James planned to serve plenty of dishes for the guests to enjoy and more than enough to go around! The star of the menu is our whole-roasted sliced turkey, which is cooked to perfection to ensure that it is juicy and flavoursome. The sliced meat will then be served in fresh bread rolls, alongside cranberry sauce and delicious stuffing. As well as the rolls, we will also be serving pigs in blankets, homemade chips, and seasonal vegetables to create a good meal for the occasion.
