In the previous months since its introduction, the Gourmet Delivery option has enabled many of our fellow hog roast enthusiasts out there to be able to continue enjoying our fresh-tasting, quality recipes. In fact, we’ve even seen those who didn’t previously think of themselves as being hog roast daft join in on the fun.
Our latest client to make the most of this ground-breaking service was Angela, who had contacted us shortly before her one-year wedding anniversary to her husband, Tom. Since the pair had enjoyed a hog roast as part of their reception, Angela was eager to remind her hubby of all the fun they had, had on their special day by placing an order for a stripped-back, delivery version of their wedding breakfast.
The Hog Roast Liston team were more than happy to help out in making Angela and Tom’s special day all the more exceptional, and with some pointers from our catering manager, James, who had also been in charge of the couple’s wedding catering last year, Angela was able to witness her visions be brought to life.
In homage to Angela and Tom’s big day, this delivery was to include starters of smoked Scottish salmon on brown bread, followed by spit-roasted, pulled pork butt served on a bed of seasonal salad and red cabbage slaw with roasted new potatoes, a drizzle of our homemade applesauce, crispy crackling and sage and onion stuffing. To finish off the meal, the client had asked that we include vacherins of strawberries and passion fruit cream for dessert.
Hog Roast Liston’s hard work toward making this mini wedding-inspired menu paid off, and just as they had on their big day, Tom and Angela relished every last bite of the quality creation.
