50th Birthday Party, Hog Roast Silver End!

It was a lovely sunny day and the hog roast team arrived on site to set up at the village hall in Silver End. Carole, the birthday girl had opted for our very popular Southern Slow Roast option which consists of free range shoulders of pork, brisket of beef from a grass fed English herd and a quarter of grass fed spring lamb.To accompany we served fresh green leaf, coleslaw, cajun seasoned potato wedges with a sour cream dip, a homemade roasted vegetable quiche and a selection of sauces including homemade apple sauce.

It was a fantastic day and Carole and her guests were all really laid back and friendly. The guests for the party arrived on site at 6:30pm and all wanted to see what hog roast Silver End had been rustling up for them.

We started to serve around 7pm and the meat just fell apart. All the guests quickly ate and came back for more. It was a great event and almost all the guests had seconds. The compliments were all positive with most saying it was the best meat they had ever tasted. A great Birthday event and a perfect Southern Slow Roast menu once again from our hog roast team!!
