This morning we at Hog Roast Witham were up bright and early. Gale force winds but we were all well wrapped up and full of beans. We arrived nice and early at the farm and catering for a surprise party. We love surprise parties and have catered for a good fair few over the years. The guys wife met us at the gate full of excitement her husband was celebrating his 40th and didn’t have a clue!
We were shown into a huge barn the tables were all lined up and we wasted no time setting up the large and small hog roasting machine in one we placed a pig and on the other lots of potatoes. We then set up the prep table and placed all the salad vegetables our chef chopped and sliced the vegetables and placed them in bowls and dotted them in the tables, then it was time to make the fillings for the jacket potatoes we made an assortment of fillings set them aside and some dips and sauces.
We were all ready to serve the Hog Roast Witham as the guests gathered in the barn then the guest of honour arrived to a great cheer of surprise! He was in shock and made his way over to us and all he could say over and over was “wow!” He watched in awe as our chef sharpened his knives and sliced the pork like butter placing the sliced on platters and the guests were straight there to fill their plates! To say he was shocked was an understatement his wife was so greatful and thanked us to which we replied it was our absolute pleasure. The food was gone in no time and all were coming over and asking us what is our secret? We had to chuckle as we don’t have any we put it down to great team work our vast experience and our fantastic hog roasting machines and through our total dedication to ensuring our customers are always happy time and time again.
