Roasting hot weather, azure skies, and countless outdoor events; yes, it’s definitely feeling like summer! And here at Hog Roast Boreham, we’ve been living our best lives, hopping from one event to the next. So much so, that we’ve barely had a moment to stand still – and yes, we love it!
Last Saturday, we found ourselves catering at a joy-filled summertime family festival and funfair. Our catering manager, James, was thrilled to be part of the fun. The event organisers were on the hunt for top-notch caterers to wow the crowds, and naturally, we were their top choice!
Our star offering? Dreamy hog roast rolls boasting unbelievably tender pulled pork, the crispiest crackling you can imagine, sage and onion stuffing, and our delicious homemade applesauce, all tucked into gluten-free or wholemeal rolls.
From the first bite, guests were in hog heaven! The queues were long as everyone wanted a chance to try Hog Roast Boreham’s famous combo, but they moved quickly thanks to James and the team’s smooth operation. Many came back for seconds, thirds, and even fourths, proving that our hearty yet wholesome treats were the perfect fuel for a high-energy day.
Of course, this event wasn’t just about great grub – the festival itself was a riot of fun. Entertainers dressed as Bing and Mickey Mouse roamed the grounds, bringing smiles and laughter everywhere they went. The funfair offered unlimited rides – bumper cars, chair-o-planes, the waltzer, and the teacup ride – ensuring endless fun. The inflatable park was a massive hit, with an incredible inflatable slide and an 80 ft assault course that thrilled and challenged kids and adults alike.
Adults got to quench their thirst with refreshing beverages at a lively bar, keeping the summer vibes alive. Meanwhile, the food zone – our home for the day – was a foodie paradise. Drool-worthy delights from various food stalls catering to every craving imaginable. Pop-up shops added a touch of charm, offering hidden treasures and giving visitors a chance to support local businesses.
In short, this event was a smash hit, and we at Hog Roast Boreham were ecstatic to be part of the magic. With mouth-watering food, fantastic entertainment, and an unforgettable atmosphere, it was truly an event to remember!
