When Polly and Simon asked us to cater their engagement party recently, Polly was concerned about her gluten intolerance and also needed a vegan option for one of their guests. We talked her through all of the mouth-watering choices that we have for vegans, such as stuffed mushrooms or peppers, baked potato and freshly-prepared salad or a veggie bake, and she selected the latter, which we would cook fresh on-site. The couple wanted hog roast Felsted rolls for the main meal, and Polly could easily eat the same as everyone else – we just needed to bring along some gluten-free rolls as everything else was suitable.
