This week’s event turned out a great success. With the snow coming down heavy the night before, whatever task we accepted wasn’t going to be easy! Hog roast Fyfield was catering for a lovely woman called Sarah as it was her 40th Birthday party and what better way to celebrate it than by having a hog roast. We arrived at the venue at 1.30pm and by this time the snow was coming down really hard, so we wasted no time in getting the equipment set up inside the house. We was catering for a party of around 85 people and Sarah had asked us to cook and prepare a menu 1 which consists of a succulent slow roasted pig with freshly made apple sauce, sage and onion stuffing and of course our very popular professionally prepared crackling. Within an hour of us arriving at the event everything was covered in a white sheet of untouched snow, but obviously this wasn’t going to last as the kids soon got to work at playing in the snow. Finally the time came for Sarah and her guest to sit down and enjoy the hog roast we had prepared, with many members of the party coming up for seconds! After they had eaten, we all went outside and released our energy having a snow ball fight, hog roast Fyfield set out 4 teams of around 20 people, we played the game a bit like dodge ball and if you got hit you was out! Unfortunately this time round hog roast Fyfield lost, and it was actually Sarah’s team that won! The day went fantastic and everybody enjoyed it, hog roast Fyfield would be more than happy to cater for Sarah and any of her guests again.
