Away from the history of the night, ask yourself what Bonfire Night is really about. Is it about the fireworks, the fiery displays? Is it about toasted marshmallows and hot chocolate on a cold November night with the kids? Is it about enjoying the company of friends and family, just before the hecticness of the festive period? Is it about warming up on a dark and cold November eve, with comforting rolls, pies, skewers and soups to do so?
The answer is any of the above. And for all of the above, Hog Roast Brentwood can help you out to make sure your Bonfire Night is as you want it!
Our dining is all about cosy comforts. Consider our signature dish, the hog roast. It’s a dining style and traditional dish that is all about comfort dining and keeping warm, as any roast is. It’s why we traditionally enjoy a roast dinner at Christmas, after all. Ours at Hog Roast Brentwood just so happens to also be a stylish spectacle in its own right too, which makes it even more appropriate to your firework-filled Bonfire Night plans.
With the authentic spit roast style of cooking, you have what would traditionally be a whole fire pit to cook a hog roast on – in other words, a bonfire. Ours happens to be a little more modern and safe as we use our own-designed mobile roasters to replicate the centuries old hog roast. The effect is exactly the same however, as are the exceptional pork tastes and crisp textures that come off our lovely tender roast. Warm up by it, enjoy the fiery spectacle, and get yourself a fresh pulled pork roll topped with crispy crackling and sage and onion stuffing to go along with it too. The kids could have toasted marshmallows using our roaster too, or with our barbecue attachment all could enjoy gourmet burgers, sausages, ribs, skewers – anything to keep you cosy and comforted on Bonfire Night!
With only a few days to go until the 5th, we ask only that you remember, remember, Hog Roast Brentwood this November!
