Hog roasting you could say is in our blood! We are a family business going back generations and are proud that our business is still going strong today. Hog roast are well known in our community and locals come back to us time and time again we have built up a great reputation and people like us as we always deliver a first class service and can boastfully say we are good at what we do! This time of year can be a little quiet and it normally picks up Easter time when we are literally here there and everywhere. Last weekend we were out in the middle of no where it was for a gentleman’s 50th birthday and he lives out in the country side and his family wanted to surprise him and host the event in his back field, the weather was on our mind but it turned out quite mild, Hog roast hire erected out marquees and set up the machinery and we were away, soon the air was filled with the most delicious smell and the gentleman was surprised when he saw us and all his guests he did say though that he could smell the food cooking from his house and he wondered where the beautiful smell was coming from! We made a sandwich spread lamb, chicken and pork sliced and popped into our huge fresh crumbly buns drizzled with sauces and gravy simply divine. Spicy dice wedgies were also served up another of our favourites potatoes cut into chunks a splash of oil and our secret herbs and spices and baked to perfection crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy inside we have just recently added these to the menu and have became a firm favourite with all our customers. We covered the tables with salads and these too were greatly received, the gentleman really enjoyed the day as did his guests I must say eating out door on a chilly day really does get the appetite going! This weekend we are local and it is actually a friend of mine her dreaded 40th birthday should be fun…
