Mark and John’s civil ceremony had arrived. The chosen venue was the Village Hall in Fyfield. Hog Roast Fyfield had been chosen to do the catering. Being a spring event Mark and John had chosen to have a slow roasted pig with crackling and cuts of beef to be accompanied with a fresh salad and all the trimmings. The event was to take part late afternoon and carry on into the evening so we made sure there was going to be enough food for the afternoon guests and also the evening guests.
The guests arrived in plenty of time for the ceremony which went very smoothly and was such a lovely service. Everybody was looking forward to the meal. The food was laid out on a large table which was covered in beautiful blue and silver table wear which the guys had chosen themselves. The spread looked wonderful set against the background of the table cloths. The guests were given the meats of their choice and then helped themselves to the fresh crisp salad. It was a very informal meal where guests could take their time and sit and eat where they liked whilst chatting to each other. Everyone was in fine spirits and the afternoon was a great success.
At 7pm the evening guests started to arrive. The party was going well with music playing from a local popular band. Guests were up dancing and having a really good time. Everyone was enjoying themselves with food and drink being on offer all afternoon and evening. We at Hog Roast Fyfield had our staff on hand at all times to make sure guests were able to access food at all times. The aroma from the slow cooking meat had filled the room with a beautiful smell telling guests that food was still available for them to help themselves. Fresh salad was put on the tables as and when needed so there was always something tasty to eat. Everyone was having a wonderful time and both Mark and John were very happy with how the day went.
